you guys probably already know there was an announcement about week and a half ago where the devs gave us an update on what we can expect for the future of apex legends there was a lot of promising stuff in the announcement like a better battle pass for season 2 a new legend a new weapon as well as some map changes but when I read this I was very happy but I was also kind of disappointed I know I'm not the only one that thinks a completely Apex Legends new map would be better than changes toKings Canyon however if you guys have done already know don't be disappointed because.

it has already been confirmed that there will be a new map coming apex eventually but due to the fact that they said map changes for season 2 I think the soonest we could see a new main Apex would be in season 3 I saw a lot of people on Reddit had some really cool ideas for what the new map could have and I definitely agree with a lot of them so first off Kings Canyon is located in the Outlands a remote cluster of planets on the outer edges of the frontier the place where took place we know that there are many other areas for the apex games already based off the lore and the history of the apexLegends universe because technically season 1.

the first season we got was actually the 124th apex game and kings canyon is an island on a planet somewhere in the Outlands so based off this I think the next area slash map would 100% be located in the Outlands or maybe even on the same planet as Kings Canyon I was looking through Reddit and I saw a lot of people talking about what they want for a new map and I agree with a lot of the opinions I saw on here so first off there was a Reddit post titled AngelCity would be an awesome addition to the map you can check it out in the description Angel City is a fan favorite map from titan fall 1 & 2 with an urban setting like a futuristic city.

I think if there would be an area on the Angel city map then it would be really cool and a change of pace compared to Kings Canyon however I do think the devs would just put Angel City on Kings Canyon cuz I don't think it would work well it wouldn't really fit in because Kings Canyon is heavily like desert and a mountain terrain personally I think a new map with a more urban setting with city similar to AngelCity or even a remake of Angel City would be very cool if the terrain of the new map was more urban with some forest type areas in between different points of interest like skull town for example as well as bunker like having different forest type areas in between those obviously a complete city base map wouldn't work well.

because of all the different legend abilities so having a map with different urban settings like titan falls Angel City airbase corporate fracture and rise with maybe even a wrecked ship from relic crashed into the map would be very cool and a good contrast to Kings Canyon I also think that many of these urban places on the map would be cool if they were rundown if it were supposed to be an island replica of the planets and places from the frontier but it was rundown and repurposed as an arena for the apex games so I think an urban map with different cities and taller buildings but more abandoned and run-down with forest terrain in between the cities would be really really cool I think a map like that would be very good for a futuristic universe like the universe.
